DONALD MELNICK, MD
MFL Board Vice President
Don Melnick has served on the library board of trustees since 2023. The Melnicks have patronized and supported the library since their now adult children enjoyed MFL story time 4 decades ago.
Don is a retired academic physician executive. He taught in medical schools and held leadership roles at a Philadelphia-based national non-profit that assesses the qualifications of doctors and some other healthcare professionals for practice in the United States. He hopes his expertise in non-profit leadership gained through his 30+ year tenure will benefit MFL and nurture the library’s continued growth of services to our community.
Don and his wife, Pam, live in the Wawa Farms neighborhood in Middletown. In retirement, they allocate their time among their 2 children and 6 grandchildren, volunteer for several human services organizations, and enjoy travel, music, books, movies, and time with friends.
